Salary: upto 8 to 10 LPAJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team, focusing on the Unsecured Loan and Micro Loan Against Property (Micro LAP) product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, a deep understanding of financial products, and the ability to drive new business, manage client relationships, and build a high-performing team.The Sales Manager will play a key role in achieving sales targets, growing market share, and enhancing customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Sales Leadership:Lead the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets for Unsecured Loans and Micro LAP.
Develop and implement sales strategies to grow business in both product categories.
Mentor, train, and guide the sales team to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and sales processes.Market Development:Identify potential clients in the market, including individuals and businesses, who may benefit from unsecured loans and micro LAP solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as business owners, brokers, and real estate agents to generate leads and increase market penetration.
Regularly monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for product offerings.Sales Execution:Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and client meetings to product presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
Drive the team to source new customers through various channels such as cold calling, referrals, networking, and digital platforms.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client queries and resolving issues promptly.Sales Reporting and Forecasting:Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, tracking team performance, sales activities, and product performance.
Provide regular feedback to senior management regarding sales progress, challenges, and market dynamics.
Use data analytics to forecast trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.Relationship Management:Build long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals..
Collaborate with other departments, such as Credit, Operations, and Risk, to ensure smooth loan processing and timely disbursals.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure that all sales activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including the KYC (Know Your Customer) process.
Educate the sales team on internal risk management protocols and best practices for securing loans and minimizing defaults.Qualifications and Skills:Education:Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
An MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.Experience:Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the financial services or banking sector, with a strong focus on unsecured loans or Micro LAP.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive financial products environment.
Experience in managing a sales team and driving performance through motivation and leadership.Skills & Competencies:Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding of unsecured loans, micro LAP, and other financial products.
Ability to manage client expectations and build long-term relationships.
Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast and track sales performance.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.
