For our team in Hyderabad, we are looking for aSales Manager (w/m/d)Essential Functions

  • Processing of a jointly defined area of responsibility for India
  • Participation in trade fairs and conferences to promote our services, solutions and products
  • Back documentation and invoices, PO's checking as and when required
  • DGTF portal & other Govt. portals documentation and necessary registration
  • Contacting and advertising customers and representatives by telephone
  • Managing the quotation process, taking customer expectations into account
  • Supporting the sales force in the preparation of quotations and associated documents (technical description, schedule compatibility matrices)
  • Clarifying technical feasibility of customer requests with the development department to customer visits
  • Preparation of quotations
  • Review of price calculations, creation of reports, monitoring of process
  • Maintenance of the quotation and customer database in the ERP system/database
Your Profile
  • Completed studies (BA,MA) or equivalent training in mechatronics or mechanical engineering
  • Professional experience of 5 to 10 years in sales
  • Experience in handling GEM portal
  • Handled DRDO customers
  • Experience in sales of capital goods and complex products, in the automotive, aerospace and/or India defense industries is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of control and drive technology, ideally with rate tables, rotary stages and/or vibration test systems
  • Willingness to travel approx. 50% - mainly in India and Switzerland
  • You have strong negotiation skills in local language and English, are very communicative and can formulate technical issues clearly
