Our Client is a Group company established in France in 1955, is a leading manufacturer of Lightning Protection Systems, Earthing Solutions, Surge Protection Devices, and Aviation Lights. With over 10 years of presence in India, its diverse market including Airports, Seaports, Bridges, Infrastructure projects, Petro Industries, Steel Industries, Car Plants, Factories, IT Parks, Government buildings, Residential & Commercial Offices, Heritage sites, and the Solar/Renewable sector.

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced sales professionals to join our Field Services Sales team at the Chennai location. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within the electrical products/solutions sales industry.

Key Responsibilities:

? Sales and Territory Management:

? Past experience of dealing with MEP & EPC Contractors in Chennai & surround for electrical product / solution sales

? Good working knowledge of the Electrical Consultants market in Chennai will also be an added skill

Manage sales from existing accounts , after-sales, and payment collection for all direct invoicing accounts.

? Develop and implement sales strategies to capture new accounts and increase market penetration

? Achieve sales and collection targets for the region.

? Prepare monthly sales forecasts and implementation plans for the Chennai sales team.

? Deliver weekly & monthly performance reports for the branch.

Team Management:

? Supervise a team of 2-3 Sales Engineers.

? Oversee the down line team members visit plans, sales cycle, including inquiry prospecting, quotation, technical and commercial negotiations, order follow-up,

? Assist team to Prepare monthly sales forecasts, implementation plans, and performance reports.

Customer and Market Engagement:

? Maintain and develop existing customer base and secure new business.

? Gain market share in the Lightning Protection & Earthing Solutions business within the region.

? Manage and develop relationships with major Electrical Consultants, MEP & EPC Electrical Contractors, and Builders.

? Understand project requirements and define technical specifications for tendering, bid preparation, order booking, and installation support.

? Monitor market trends, competitors, business cycles, and new projects, and report these to the Head Office.

Travel and Communication:

? Travel extensively within Chennai market on a daily basis.

? Communicate effectively with clients and maintain strong relationships.

? Provide leadership in managing sales and revenue generation.

Requirements:

o 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role managing electrical products/solutions sales.

o Proven experience in managing a down line sales team.

o Strong contacts and network with Electrical Consultants and Contractors in Chennai

o Willingness to travel extensively within Chennai .

o Excellent communication and leadership skills.

o Strong market knowledge of the active Tamil Nadu markets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?1,000,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
