Job Overview: We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager with proven experience in the FMCG industry to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will be adept at setting and achieving targets, motivating a sales force, and driving revenue growth in a competitive market. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets for assigned territories, product categories, or channels.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to drive performance, exceed targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Set clear sales targets, quotas, and KPIs for individual team members and provide ongoing feedback, training, and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential customers, accounts, and market segments to focus sales efforts and maximize return on investment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and strategic partners, to drive product distribution and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and market expansion.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales forecasts, pipeline status, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to develop integrated sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to anticipate challenges and capitalize on opportunities for business growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • years of progressive experience in sales or sales management roles in the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and coach a diverse team of sales professionals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify insights, and develop actionable plans to drive business results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and software.
  • Willingness to travel as required
