Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide knowledgeable assistance about our textile products.
• Sales: Promote and sell a variety of textile products, including fabrics, garments, and accessories, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of product features, benefits, and pricing to effectively address customer inquiries and objections.
• Inventory Management: Assist in stocking and organizing merchandise, ensuring that the sales floor is well-maintained and fully stocked.
• Visual Merchandising: Support the creation and maintenance of visually appealing displays that highlight key products and promotions.
• Transaction Handling: Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and card payments, and issue receipts.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service to encourage repeat business.
• Feedback Collection: Gather and relay customer feedback to management to help improve product offerings and customer service strategies.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or textiles is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in retail or sales, particularly in the textile or fashion industry, is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., boxes of textiles).

Work Environment:

• This role requires working on the sales floor, which may involve some lifting, bending, and standing.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.

Pay: From ?10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 25 per week
