Job Title: Construction Steel/Structural Steel Sales Field Executive
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Client Acquisition:
o Actively seek out new sales opportunities by identifying potential clients such as construction companies, contractors, and architects.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
o Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and industry trends.
o Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting the company's steel products to clients.
2. Product Knowledge:
o Understand the technical aspects of the steel products, including TMT bars, structural beams, pipes, sheets, and other steel components.
o Provide clients with product information, including specifications, grades, and applications of steel products based on their construction needs.
3. Field Visits:
o Conduct regular field visits to client sites to assess their requirements, pitch products, and close sales.
o Attend client meetings, construction site visits, and industry events to network and promote the company's products.
o Gather information on client project timelines, budgets, and specific requirements to offer tailored solutions.
4. Order Management & Follow-ups:
o Assist clients with placing orders and ensure accurate and timely processing.
o Coordinate with internal departments such as logistics and accounts to ensure smooth delivery and payment collection.
o Follow up on sales leads, proposals, and quotations to close deals.
5. Reporting & Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, orders, and client feedback.
o Prepare regular sales reports for management, including sales performance, client issues, and market trends.
o Report market developments, client needs, and potential improvements to management.
6. Customer Service:
o Address any concerns or issues that clients may have during the sales process or post-purchase.
o Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction with product quality and services.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Any bachelor's degree
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction or steel industry.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction and structural steel products and their applications.
Sales Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Customer Service Orientation: A client-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.
Flexibility & Mobility: Willingness to travel to client locations and construction sites.
