Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our home automation team. The ideal candidate will focus on promoting and selling cutting-edge smart home solutions that enhance comfort, convenience, and security for clients. This role involves identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored automation solutions to meet those requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Prospecting and Lead Generation:
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
• Maintain and expand a database of potential clients, including homeowners, contractors, and architects.
• Client Consultation:
• Meet with clients to understand their specific home automation needs and preferences.
• Educate potential customers on the benefits and features of smart home systems, including security, lighting, climate control, and entertainment.
• Solution Presentation:
• Prepare and deliver customized proposals and presentations that address client requirements.
• Showcase product demos and explain how solutions integrate into their homes seamlessly.
• Sales Conversion and Negotiation:
• Close sales by overcoming objections, negotiating terms, and finalizing agreements.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
• Collaboration with Technical Teams:
• Work closely with the design and installation teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.
• Communicate client expectations and ensure successful project execution.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Provide post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
• Market Insights and Reporting:
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
• Provide regular sales reports and insights to management.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Sales Expertise:
• Proven track record in B2C or B2B sales, preferably in technology, smart home, or related fields.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Technical Acumen:
• Basic understanding of home automation systems and IoT technologies (training provided).
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey solutions and value propositions.
• Customer Focus:
• Ability to identify customer pain points and offer solutions that exceed their expectations.
• Self-Motivation and Organization:
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in sales within the technology, construction, or interior design industries.
• Familiarity with smart home brands like Control4, Crestron, Google Home, or Amazon Alexa.
