Job Description

Job Title: Sales Executive - Building Materials

Location: Lucknow
Department: Sales
Reports To: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development:
• Identify new sales opportunities in the construction and building materials market.
• Generate leads and convert them into long-term customers.
• Conduct regular market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by prospecting new clients and nurturing existing accounts.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including architects, contractors, builders, and procurement managers.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
• Offer technical support and product knowledge to customers as needed.
• Product Knowledge:
• Stay updated on new products, industry developments, and best practices related to building materials.
• Provide product presentations and demonstrations to customers, showcasing the benefits and features of our offerings.
• Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
• Sales Targets & Reporting:
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports, including forecasts, progress updates, and market insights.
• Track sales performance using CRM tools and provide feedback to the management team.
• Negotiation & Closing Deals:
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers.
• Close sales deals effectively and efficiently while maintaining profit margins.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and materials that support sales efforts.
• Work closely with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction processes, and industry trends.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with technical sales and product specifications.
• Ability to work with architects, contractors, and developers.
• Understanding of construction projects and timelines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites and trade shows.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
