Sales Executive - OEM & Institutional SalesDepartment: Sales / MarketingEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: IndiaReporting To: Abhishek DashoraDescriptionResults-driven sales professional with a strong technical background in submersible pumps and motors, responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Institutional Customers / Government Agencies. The role involves technical sales, product demonstrations, and solutions development to meet customer needs. Utilizes product expertise and industry knowledge to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, driving revenue and market share increase.Key ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A highly motivated Government Sales Specialist responsible for obtaining Government sales utilizing existing contracts and new prospects.
  • The Government Sales Specialist will be responsible for the development of new state and central Government business across India ; however primary focus area will to develop Northern India first
  • Generate new sales opportunities with government clients, EPC Companies and Contractors.
  • Network expansion -New Dealer Appointment.
  • Government Sales Experience a must . Must have visited Jal Nigam, PHED office, Agriculture dept. and obtained business
  • Strong existing relationships in the Government arena, as well as a strong track record of new business development
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Sound understanding of government and contracting including account structures, procurement processes, RFPs, and standard bid requests and Government E-Market (GeM)
  • Pre-Sales Coordination for Govt tenders or Govt Enquiries
  • Basics of tendering process and hands on to Tender or Govt. registration portal
  • Formulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Promote product knowledge by setting up meetings and offering product demonstrations/presentations to government customers
  • Liaising with government stakeholders at all the levels
  • Understanding of competitor strategy
  • Ability to travel 15 days in a month.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseSkills and Abilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge of submersible pumps and motors, including design, application, and installation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
Education and Experience
  • An Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical)
  • He should have an experience of 5 -8 years in Government / Institutional Sales.
  • Preferably from agriculture and domestic pumps (Submersible, monoblocs and minipumps) background.
