Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and promoting the company's logistics and supply chain solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a thorough understanding of the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Client Acquisition and Retention
• Identify and approach prospective clients to understand their logistics requirements.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold calling, and industry research.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and loyalty.
• Sales and Revenue Generation
• Promote and sell the company's logistics services, including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain solutions.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by closing deals with clients across various industries.
• Prepare and deliver customized proposals and presentations to clients.
• Market Analysis and Strategy
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new business opportunities.
• Provide input to the sales strategy based on market research and customer feedback.
• Negotiation and Contract Management
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to close deals while ensuring profitability.
• Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
• Coordination and Communication
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates on service status.
• Reporting and Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts using CRM tools.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications and Skills
• Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience
• Proven experience as a Sales Executive in the logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding industry.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Skills
• Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
