Role Overview:
We seek an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong understanding of the event management industry, and the ability to effectively engage prospects, pitch our platform, deliver product demos, and close deals. As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in expanding our client base by identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that drive growth for our clients and our business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospecting & Research: Identify and research potential clients in the event management, conference, and other sectors. Generate leads through various channels such as online research, referrals, social media, and networking.
• Sales Outreach: Initiate outbound sales efforts (calls, emails, and social media) to qualify leads and introduce our ticket registration platform.
• Product Pitching & Demonstrations: Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our platform to prospects through online demos, presentations, and meetings. Tailor the pitch to address each prospects specific needs and pain points.
• Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and challenges by asking insightful questions and actively listening to their requirements. Provide solutions that align with their goals and objectives.
• Deal Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process and work with prospects to finalize terms. Close sales in a timely and efficient manner to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up tasks in the CRM. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive renewals and upsells.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and to stay updated on new features or offerings.
• Sales Reporting: Track sales performance against targets, providing regular updates and reports on pipeline progress, wins, and challenges.
Requirements:
• Proven track record in sales, preferably in SaaS, event technology, or B2B software solutions.
• Strong ability to identify prospects, generate leads, and close deals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
• Comfortable conducting product demos and online presentations.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with the ticketing industry is a plus, but not required.
