Job Title: Sales Representative - Pest Control

Location: kolkata, West Bengal.

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports to: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Director

Job Overview:

As a Pest Control Sales Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers, developing relationships with current clients, and promoting pest control services to residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing effective pest control solutions. You will be the face of the company in the field, building trust with clients and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and generate new business opportunities by prospecting in assigned territories. This includes cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, attending networking events, and utilizing social media and other platforms to generate leads.
• Sales Presentations: Conduct in-person and virtual presentations of pest control services to prospective customers. Demonstrate the benefits of the company's offerings, tailored to meet the needs of each client.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Provide ongoing support and advice to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Sales Goals & Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets--track and report on sales activities, including leads, meetings, and conversions.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential new business opportunities within your territory. Provide feedback to the team regarding customer needs, preferences, and competitive activity.
• Contract Negotiation & Closing: Effectively negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers. Close sales and ensure the smooth transition to the operations team for service delivery.
• Customer Education: Educate customers about pest control methods, seasonal pest activity, and the importance of ongoing services to ensure long-term pest prevention.
• Post-Sale Support: Ensure that customers are satisfied with the services provided. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally, providing follow-up as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience, ideally in field sales or a related industry (e.g., home services, HVAC, lawn care, etc.)
• Strong understanding of pest control products and services (or ability to learn quickly)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Results-driven with a strong ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working outdoors and visiting clients' properties in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for traveling to client sites)
• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
• Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the pest control industry or related services
• Previous experience with door-to-door sales or B2B sales
• Knowledge of local pest control regulations and safety standards
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, depending on the region
