The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's paint products (including coatings, varnishes, and other related products) to various markets such as retail, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of customer needs, and a passion for sales within the paint manufacturing industry. They will play a key role in driving business growth and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
Generate leads:
Identify and prospect new customers through market research, networking, and cold calling to expand the customer base.
Client relationship management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Sales presentations:
Conduct product presentations to clients, demonstrating the value of the company's products and providing technical support when needed.
Sales targets:
Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs by actively pursuing sales opportunities and closing deals.
2. Product Knowledge & Consultation
Product expertise:
Have an in-depth understanding of the company's paint products, including their features, benefits, and applications.
Consultation:
Provide technical advice to clients, helping them choose the right products for their specific needs (e.g., commercial, industrial, or residential applications).
Product demonstrations:
Lead product demonstrations and provide samples to potential customers, showcasing the product's features and performance.
3. Customer Service & Support
After-sales support:
Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing queries, solving problems, and ensuring the successful implementation and application of products.
Customer feedback:
Gather and relay customer feedback to improve product offerings, customer service, and internal processes.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Identify market trends:
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitors' products, and identify emerging opportunities for growth.
Competitor analysis:
Monitor competitors' pricing, promotional strategies, and market positioning to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
5. Sales Administration
Quotation preparation:
Prepare accurate price quotes, sales proposals, and contracts based on customer requirements.
Order processing:
Handle order processing, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Sales reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts. Report regularly on progress towards sales targets.
Documentation:
Ensure proper documentation of sales transactions, including contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams
Coordinate with production and logistics:
Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries, inventory management, and product availability.
Feedback to R&D/Marketing:
Provide valuable customer feedback to the marketing and R&D teams to help improve products and promotional strategies.
7. Brand Promotion
Brand ambassador:
Act as the face of the company, promoting its values and reputation while ensuring consistency in branding and communication.
Participate in trade shows:
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to network with potential clients and increase brand visibility.
