About the Job At Lushful, we\'re seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales manager to lead our sales efforts in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a sharp business mind and street smart skills to generate leads and promote Lushful\'s organic food products to individual customers, as well as establishing partnerships with supermarkets, restaurants, and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for promoting sustainable and healthy food choices. Company Lushful is a technology-driven, fast-growing startup in the food-tech industry with a vision to offer really healthy food to consumers in a transparent manner. We leverage technologies like Spectroscopy, Blockchain, Machine Learning, and IoT to identify the nutrients/chemicals in food and trace it through the supply chain. At present, we deliver organic (chemical-free) fruits and vegetables to people directly from the farm within 12 hours of harvest, meaning it\'s really, really fresh. It\'s a win-win for people who want to eat healthy, helps the farmers make 2-3 times more money, and great for the planet. Objectives Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in Bangalore. Identify and engage with potential individual customers, effectively communicating the benefits of Lushful\'s organic food products. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in supermarkets, restaurants, and corporate organisations to secure partnerships and distribution channels. Responsibilities Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, trends, and competition in the organic food market. Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling sales materials, presentations, and campaigns. Get more customers in residential apartments in Bangalore via flyers, standees, farmer\'s market, and society events Using cold-calling techniques to initiate conversations and build relationships with customers Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiations, and closing deals. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the leadership team. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Represent Lushful at farmer\'s market, apartment events, and organic trade fairs Preferred skills and qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred). Proven track record of 2-3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the food, agriculture, or related industries. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a natural ability to connect with diverse audiences. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment Familiarity with the Bangalore market and its unique dynamics is a plus Knowledge of English, Hindi, and Kannada to engage with customers Passion for healthy and sustainable food choices, aligning with Lushful\'s mission.
