Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the steel industry or a related field and will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the steel sector. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and clients.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the company's product offerings, including steel grades, specifications, and industry applications. Provide clients with technical information and product recommendations.
• Negotiations and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties. Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities. Provide feedback to management on market conditions and product performance.
• Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics. Monitor sales activities and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of client issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications or coursework in sales or steel industry knowledge is a plus.
• Proven experience in sales within the steel industry or a closely related field. A strong network of industry contacts is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
