Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Event Coordinator with a strong background in banquet and catering sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Coordination:

Collaborate with clients to understand event requirements and preferences. Coordinate with banquet and catering teams to ensure seamless event execution. Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics.

Sales and Business Development:

Generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline for banquets and catering. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business. Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective selling and negotiation strategies.

Client Servicing:

Conduct venue tours and menu presentations for prospective clients. Address client queries promptly and resolve any issues efficiently. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of client interactions, bookings, and payments. Prepare and present sales reports to management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field. Proven experience in banquet and catering sales, preferably as a Sales Event Coordinator. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of current trends in the hospitality and catering industry. Experience in upselling and cross-selling catering services. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
