Job Description


The Sales Engineer will be responsible to generate Business for the Products and Product Portfolio being assigned for the Industry and the Region.Functionality includes:

  • Project Chasing
  • Contract Finalization, Execution and
  • Order Follow up and Basically, Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Payment (OTP)
  • Documentation and Approvals
  • Provide the Support for Commissioning and Start-up Support through Service Engineer and Team Support including on site customer
  • Overhaling and Condition Monitoring
  • Customer Visits PAN India for Business Generation

  • Searching for New Customers who might benefit from Products or Services and maximizing customer Potential in designated regions (PAN India) with support of Sales Team as well as Regional Channel
  • Developing long-term business relationships with customers through managing and interpreting their
  • Persuading customers that the products or services best satisfies their needs in terms of Quality and
  • Negotiating Tender and Contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and Company
  • Calculating customer quotations and administering customer
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education and after sale support services
  • Analysing Costs and Sales Revenues
  • Preparing the Visit Reports as well as Sales Forecast on Quarterly
  • Meeting Sales Targets and identifying the Customers for Business Generation and
  • Technical Presentation and demonstrating on how a Product meets Customer
  • Identifying the Order Win Summary and Order Lost case for future / present reference.
  • Inside knowledge and information of Competition and pricing
  • Liaising with other Sales team and channel
  • Adopting and ensuring the right strategy for MRO Business Opportunities and understanding the customer to help in design of custom-made
  • Problem Solving with Selling to Customer

IMPORTANT - TO HAVE IN CANDIDATE:The Candidates should have technical knowledge on the Valves and Automation. We are not looking for candidates who are into Commodity Valves. Our is Niche Segment of the Industry and we are only focusing on the Severe Service Applications which demands critical and top of the line Products (Valves).Also, complete knowledge about the Valve Sizing with regards to selection of Valve according to Design Temperature and Design Pressure, Body Material and Bore Size and also the Edge Prep or Pipe Schedule. Able to differentiate between SW and BW schedules and also importantly to do the budgeting on the pricing to ensure we are competitive.Candidates from the same field only should apply and having experience in the same product and industry.In addition to Ball Valves, Candidate should also have knowledge of the Actuators i.e., Pneumatic, Electric and Hydraulic. To select the right actuator according to the Valve Torque.We are looking for a Dynamic, Technical Strong and also adaptive to the situation and customer and who can develop close and strong relations with customer.Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales and familiarity of our products and line of business; Industrial Equipment/Power Sector/Vacuum Pumps & Valves.
  • MBA from a reputed Institute
  • Engineering Degree from a reputed
  • Well averse in English and also in MS-office and reporting!
  • CAD software would be added
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED - Including any required certificates, licenses, and registrations.
  • High level of customer service skills as well as the ability to respond quickly to service/parts
  • Thorough understanding of systems troubleshooting and the benefits of establishing solid service practices for the company and the
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint ,Excel and
  • Must be motivated and fast paced personality with serious work
