Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Engineer to join our team in the solar installation and manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong sales and marketing skills to drive business growth, promote our products and services, and build lasting customer relationships. This role involves both sales and marketing responsibilities, including lead generation, customer engagement, product demonstrations, market research, and strategic marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development:

- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

- Understand customer needs and present customized solar solutions, including residential, commercial, and industrial systems.

- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations to educate clients about solar products, services, and benefits.

- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.

- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

2. Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:

- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the company's solar products and services.

- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and content creation.

- Organize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events to enhance brand visibility.

- Collaborate with internal teams to create promotional materials such as brochures, presentations, and product catalogs.

3. Customer Support and Relationship Management:

- Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

- Address customer queries, provide technical advice, and assist with system maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Gather customer feedback and collaborate with engineering and product development teams to improve products and services.

4. Product and Market Knowledge:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest solar technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes in the renewable energy sector.

- Continuously build and refine knowledge of the company's solar products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.

- Provide technical input during product development and improvement phases based on customer feedback.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project progress.

- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer insights.

- Analyze sales data to forecast future demand and identify new market opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience (2+ years) in sales and marketing, preferably within the solar energy or renewable energy industry.

- Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, components, and installation processes.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

- Familiarity with CRM software, marketing tools, and sales tracking systems.

- A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach to sales and marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with solar project design and engineering.

- Knowledge of energy efficiency standards, regulations, and incentives.

- Strong network within the renewable energy sector and related industries.

- Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, and content marketing.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
