Position Supporting the Sales Managers on all technical analysis and
Summary documentation related to the sales process with reduced or minimal supervision from the Manager, an increased efficiency and independence in executing the responsibilities and a deeper technical understanding of the products/services/processes. Increased responsibilities may include more independent coordination with the Principals & Clients, more visits to the clients and/or field and more involvement with strategy discussions.

Responsibilities
1)The below list covers a majority of the responsibility of this position but is not all-inclusive of the person's role which is dependent on the work needs at that time and the capabilities and workload of each individual.
Identifying Sales Requirements
• Tender/EOI Search - Searching online/newspaper for all relevant tenders and expressions of interest and take assigned follow-up action. (Refer to Tender Search Procedure for details.)
• Req. in Large Projects - Review and analyze tenders of large projects (e.g. Rig tenders) to find if there is any requirement for out principals.
Tender/RFQ Review
• Reading, understanding and analyzing tender/enquiries details
(specifically technical specifications, scope of work, experience/financial criteria, terms and conditions etc.).
• Seeking clarity where needed from the client and principal.
• Ensuring our products/services technical specifications and qualification documentation can meet all conditions (technical and commercial).
• Analysis of past trends of specs, BEC and pricing, if needed.
• Detailed technical understanding of the products and services and the related industry standards to facilitate accurate and effective review.
Quote/ Bid Preparation
• Compiling of technical bid packages/quotes/EOIs by coordinating
with principal and client. (Compilation includes filling standard proformas, getting bank drafts, reviewing drawings, experience documents etc. for correctness and aesthetics, calculating packing and shipping costs, pricing analysis, competitor's advantages/disadvantages and more)3
• Ensuring the right tools are in place for bid preparation (e.g. Log- ins, digital certificates etc.)
• Assisting in preparation of any correspondence (e.g. prebid/postbid clarifications, extension requests, price negotiations, strategic marketing, etc.)
• All above to be completed in a timely manner (as discussed with manager) as it is deadline based.
Post Sale Closure
• In case of LOA/PO, review details, share with principal, and assist in acknowledgment and PBG issuing.
• Coordinating return of bid bond after tendering and PBG after delivery.
• Creating/Reviewing correctne?ss of all related sales documentations for shipment and payment such as POs, PBGs, invoices, BOLs, L/C related docs, databooks, etc.
• Handling the logistics, shipment and delivery and providing technical support as required.
• Following up on the delivery status through close coordination with the logistics partners.
• Continual follow-ups with the principals to deliver the equipment on time.
• Continual Follow-ups with client on L/C (if applicable) and finally payment
• Preparation of any correspondence (e.g. delivery extensions, etc.)
• Attending equipment assembly, testing, packing & shipping where required
• Assisting in field for installations/troubleshooting under close supervision of Senior/Manager
Client & Principal Coordination (as detailed above)
• Coordinating with the clients and principals on the technical specifications regularly while reviewing and preparing the bids
• Regular interaction on the technical specifications, document preparation, payment follow-ups, shipment tracking and delivery support.
• Coordinating shipments and associated L/C documentation (e.g. packing list, proforma invoice)
• Follow up with client on payments
• Visiting the client for sales as per requirement under senior and manager's supervision
Record Keeping & Documentation
• Maintaining QPI/EOI database of quotes, EO?Is, POs, invoices details and maintaining the associated files also.
• Maintaining and updating the records on the servers on a regular basis as per the defined process and ensuring that efficiency gets maintained
Review & Tracking
• Tracking each potential sale and anticipation of the action required with minimal instruction from the managers.
• Responding to the queries received from the client and thorough understanding of the standards and procedures
• Involvement in sales discussion plans.
Misc. Support
• Performing research and maintaining India Oil Market Data and equipment/ service requirements (e.g. Rig chart, Rig tender chart, etc.)
• Misc. Support such as conference set-ups and booth manning, ensuring brochures/ipad updated, presentation making for principals, etc.
• Training the new team members about the business processes.

Qualifications & Preferable Mechanical or Electrical Engineer. Can accept Petroleum
Technical skills and Chemical Engineers also. Typically do not accept Electronics,
Computer, Civil or Industrial Engineers.
• Proficient in using a computer (specifically MS Office - Word, Excel,
Power Point)
Experience 2 to 4 years of experience
• Prior experience in Inside Sales and/or Oil & Gas would be preferred
Working The employee will be expected to work out of the Askara office. At times
Conditions based on the requirements the employee may visit the client/principals for marketing visits with the Sales Manager/Director or to the client/principal offices/plants/yards/rig for checking readiness, delivery, inspection, troubleshooting etc

Pay: ?250,000.00 - ?550,000.00 per year
