Job Title Sales Engineer, India WestAs our Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle, including researching, preparing and presenting technical product training for Axis video surveillance products.This role requires travel across the India SAARC region, South Asia Pacific, and international locations for meetings, events, and training sessions.This position is based in Mumbai, India.Why You'll Love This RoleYou are passionate about technology and creating solutions that drive sales growth across the territoryYou enjoy collaborating with Axis Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to support pre- and post-sales opportunitiesYou are great at communicating and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersKey responsibilities will include:Deliver product demonstrations and provide technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales processSupport distributors and resellers with technical presales guidanceCollaborate with integrators and software development partners during project salesCreate technical presales materialLead Axis Academy technical training courses for resellers and partnersManage and maintain company's demo products and Axis Experience Centre (AEC)Identify new business opportunities through partner engagementMaintain relationships with selected ecosystem partnersCollaborating with Sales and Marketing teams for Axis & Partner EventsPerform other duties as assignedQualification and ExperienceBachelor's degree with at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in CCTV network security with expertise in network video solutionsProven pre-sales experience in the IT channel within a multinational environmentExperience with video surveillance systems, audio network products, access control systems, and VMS software/hardware would be an advantageStrong presentation and demonstration skills for audiences at all levelsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentKnowledge of networking, IP-based technologies, and applications, with expertise in network infrastructure and cybersecurityIndustrial certification from CISCO, Nortel Networks, Microsoft and with technical experience from CCTV business preferredImportant skills, abilities, knowledge for this role:Self-motivated, hands-on, and able to work independentlyStrong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOpen to learn new technologies and skillsResults-driven with strong sales focusCollaborative team playerType of Employment Permanent EmploymentPosting End Date 2025-05-19Certain roles at Axis require background checks, which means applicable verifications will be done in these recruitments.
