About The Role:
As a Sales Engineer specializing in the Chemical Business Sector at Rieco Industries Ltd, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with potential clients within the chemical industry. You will collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized solutions and proposals, deliver product demonstrations, and provide ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to lead generation, strong communication skills, and a keen understanding of industry trends and client needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Client Identification and Prioritization: Identify and prioritize potential clients within the chemical industry, including chemical manufacturers and processing plants.
• Relationship Building : Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target companies. Establish rapport and credibility to effectively represent Rieco Industries Ltd.
• Needs Assessment : Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand clients' requirements, challenges, and pain points. Gather relevant information to tailor solutions to their specific needs.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that address clients' needs effectively.
• Product Presentations: Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proposals to clients, highlighting the value proposition of our equipment and solutions.
• Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events. Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion within the chemical sector.
• Post-Sales Support : Provide post-sales support to clients, ensuring ongoing communication, addressing any concerns or issues promptly, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.
• Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Monitor changes in customer needs and preferences to identify potential threats and opportunities for business growth.
• Sales Activity Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including sales forecasts, pipeline management, client interactions, and account updates. Utilize CRM systems to track and manage sales processes efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the chemical industry or related sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
• Proven ability to conduct needs assessments, develop customized solutions, and deliver persuasive presentations.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to lead generation and client engagement.
• Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape within the chemical sector.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
