Overview: As a Sales Engineer specializing in Drilling and rig Equipment for Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), you will be responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting the company\'s range of drilling and rig equipment used in the construction, mining, and related industries. This role demands technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and fulfill customer requirements. Job Location: HQ Coimbatore - Pan India CTC - 4 - 6 LPA Exp. Required - 2+ (In HEMM Sales) Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and engage potential customers, including contractors, construction companies, mining firms, and other relevant entities.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and expand the market share of drilling and rig equipment.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding the selection, operation, and maintenance of drilling and rig equipment.
    • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of the equipment.
  • Market Analysis and Product Improvement:
    • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to drilling and rig equipment for HEMM.
    • Gather feedback from customers and collaborate with the product development team to suggest improvements or new features that align with market demands.
  • Quotation and Proposal Preparation:
    • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations, proposals, and contracts for clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering and finance, to develop comprehensive and compelling proposals.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
    • Utilize CRM software to maintain updated records of customer interactions, sales activities, and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
    • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and sales opportunities in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in technical sales or business development, preferably in the drilling, rig equipment, or HEMM industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of drilling and rig equipment, its applications, and functionality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications for sales reporting and documentation.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit project sites as required.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate international clients or different time zones, if necessary.
  • A valid driver\'s license and a clean driving record may be required for this role.
