Job Description


As the Team Lead for the Sales Development Representatives (SDR) at Spectra, you will drive the effectiveness and success of our SDR team. This role is key to our transition into a more diverse offering, including Network-As-A-Service (NaaS), cloud solutions, and managed services. You will be responsible for leading the SDR team in qualifying leads, identifying opportunities, and facilitating a smooth handover to the sales conversion team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

  • Direct and support the SDR team in their daily operations, ensuring effective lead qualification and opportunity recognition.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to enhance professional growth and sales skills within the team.
  • Regularly conduct team meetings and performance review sessions.
2. Strategy Implementation and Process Improvement:
  • Oversee the execution of the SDR strategy, aligning it with the company s broader sales goals, including our shift to NaaS, cloud olutions, and managed services.
  • Collaborate with demand generation and other sales teams for a seamless lead generation and qualification process.
  • Utilize outcome metrics and analytics to continuously refine the SDR process for efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Training and Development:
  • Develop and implement training programs for the SDR team, focusing on consultative selling, product knowledge across various offerings, nd customer engagement strategies.
  • Identify skill gaps within the team and provide targeted coaching and development opportunities.
4. Client Engagement and Feedback Integration:
  • Engage directly with potential clients to gather insights and feedback, enhancing the team s approach to lead qualification.
  • Ensure high-quality client interactions and alignment with the company s service standards.
5. Performance Management and Metrics:
  • Set clear performance metrics and KPIs for the SDR team, aligned with the company s sales objectives.
  • Regularly assess team performance, providing feedback and strategies for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, with a focus on Telecom Services Sales, SaaS, cloud solutions, or other managed services.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role within a sales or business development environment.
  • Proficient in consultative selling techniques and understanding of the sales development process.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in scaling sales teams and processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales teams towards achieving and exceeding targets.
