Position: Sales Coordinator

Reports To: Sales Manager / Head of Sales

Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team with administrative tasks, manage customer accounts, and facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have experience in the manufacturing industry, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Support and Coordination:
• Assist the sales team by providing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
• Act as a liaison between the sales team, production, logistics, and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Manage customer accounts, including updating records, tracking orders, and addressing any client concerns.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on orders and resolving any issues promptly.
• Foster strong relationships with customers by ensuring high levels of service and attention to detail.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare sales reports, presentations, and analysis as requested by the sales manager.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales orders, invoices, and correspondence with clients.
• Inventory and Order Management:
• Coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to manage inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
• Ensure that all product specifications, quantities, and timelines meet customer requirements.
• Market Research and Support:
• Support market research activities by gathering information on competitors, market trends, and customer preferences.
• Assist in developing sales strategies and promotional activities based on insights from research.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Handle routine administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and organizing documents.
• Assist with training new sales team members on sales processes and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in a sales coordination role within the manufacturing industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM and ERP systems.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Problem Solving: Ability to handle customer issues with patience and professionalism, seeking solutions that benefit both the client and the company.
