: Sales Coordinator / Sales Executive (Machine Spares & Service Department)



Position Overview:

The Sales Coordinator / Sales Executive in the Machine Spares Department is responsible for managing and coordinating sales activities related to spare parts for industrial machinery. This role requires a keen understanding of both sales processes and the technical aspects of machine parts. The individual will work closely with customers, sales teams, in-house production team and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient service, aiming to increase sales, customer satisfaction, and company profitability.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales Support & Coordination:

Assist in managing the sales pipeline and monitor customer inquiries, providing timely responses to their needs. Coordinate with the internal sales and technical teams to provide accurate quotes and ensure the availability of machine spares. Maintain and update customer records, including orders, pricing, and service details in the CRM system. Handle incoming calls and emails from customers inquiring about machine spares, offering product details, pricing, and delivery timelines.

Order Processing:

Process and manage sales orders from clients, ensuring that orders are accurately entered and delivered within deadlines. Collaborate with the inventory and logistics teams to ensure the timely fulfillment of orders and resolve any issues related to stock or delivery.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions. Provide after-sales support, follow up on order statuses, and resolve customer issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner. Coordinate with the technical team to ensure that machine spares are properly matched with customer specifications.

Product Knowledge:

Stay updated with the latest product offerings, technical specifications, and industry trends in machine spares. Provide advice on the selection of appropriate spare parts based on customer requirements.

Sales Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare regular sales reports, including order status, customer feedback, and sales performance metrics. Analyze sales trends, identify opportunities for growth, and contribute to the development of sales strategies.

Market Research & Prospecting:

Identify and prospect potential clients in need of machine spares, expanding the customer base through various channels (cold calling, referrals, online research). Gather competitor information and market trends to enhance the company's competitive advantage in the market.

Collaborative Efforts:

Work closely with the technical, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Support marketing efforts by promoting machine spares offerings through different channels and creating promotional materials as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:



Education:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:



Previous experience in sales or coordination, particularly in the spare parts or industrial machinery sector, is highly preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft office, sales software, and order processing tools. Ability to quickly learn new products and understand technical specifications.

Skills:



Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Fluent in communicating in English & hindi Attention to detail in order processing and customer documentation. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally.

Additional Competencies:



Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets. Team-oriented but also capable of working independently. Knowledge of basic sales principles and practices.

Working Conditions:



Full-time position, office-based with occasional travel required for client visits and site meetings. Flexible working hours, depending on customer needs and project timelines.
