Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the hotel's sales department by managing administrative tasks, maintaining customer relationships, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring smooth communication between the sales team and other departments. This position is critical in maximizing hotel occupancy, event bookings, and guest satisfaction through effective sales support and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Support:
• Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, such as preparing proposals, contracts, and presentations for potential clients.
• o Respond to client inquiries and requests, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
• o Manage incoming group, corporate, and event leads, ensuring all details are captured and communicated accurately to the sales team.
• Event Coordination:
• o Liaise with clients to confirm details for sheds, banquets, and other events, ensuring all specifications are met.
• o Coordinate with the operations, food & beverage, and front office teams to ensure seamless execution of events and guest stays.
• Sales Database Management:
• o Maintain and update the groups, corporates Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate and timely data regarding client interactions, booking status, and guest preferences.
• o Track and report groups, corporates and event bookings for weekly and monthly sales meetings.
• Contract and Documentation Management:
• o Prepare and process sales contracts, ensuring compliance with company's policies and standards.
• o Handle all necessary documentation, including credit agreements, billing instructions, and event orders.
• Client Relationship Management:
• o Serve as a liaison between the client and the water park operations team, ensuring that client needs and expectations are met.
• o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to encourage repeat business.
• Marketing and Promotions:
• o Assist with the preparation of promotional materials and packages for clients, including special offers and event proposals.
• o Support the execution of sales and marketing events, such as trade shows, client meetings, and networking events.
• Sales Reporting:
• o Generate regular sales reports and assist with forecasting based on booking patterns and market conditions.
• o Monitor competitor hotels and provide insights to the sales team for strategic planning.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 1-2years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Skills: CRM knowledge, strong communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Attributes : Detail-oriented, team player, guest-focused, and flexible.

Working Conditions:

• Standard office hours, but may require flexibility for event coordination or peak sales periods.
• Occasional weekend work may be required depending on client or event needs.

Pay: Up to ?400,000.00 per year
