The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the sales team by ensuring smooth communication between internal departments and customers. This individual is responsible for organizing and coordinating the sales process, managing customer inquiries, preparing sales documents, and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery. The role involves collaborating with various departments like marketing, logistics, and customer service to help meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Support:
• Assist the sales team with daily administrative tasks, including processing orders, managing schedules, and preparing reports.
• Coordinate sales meetings, product presentations, and follow-ups with customers.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with the sales team.
• Order Processing:
• Ensure orders are entered accurately into the system and processed efficiently.
• Track order status and liaise with logistics and other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Handle customer inquiries related to order status, delivery, and product availability.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Respond to customer inquiries, providing information on products, services, and pricing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Coordinate after-sales services and address customer complaints or concerns.
• Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order statuses.
• Prepare regular sales reports and performance analysis to track progress toward sales goals.
• Assist in managing the customer database and ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
• Collaboration with Sales Team:
• Act as a liaison between the sales team, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and promotional materials.
• Help coordinate marketing campaigns, product launches, and other sales initiatives.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement or warehouse teams to ensure availability of products.
• Keep track of stock levels to avoid delays in fulfilling customer orders.
• Sales Documentation:
• Maintain accurate documentation of sales transactions, including contracts, quotes, and invoices.
• Ensure that all sales-related paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Master's degree in any field.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CRM software and sales management tools.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
