Office Timings: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM Office Address: J-30,2nd floor, Sanjivani Agro, Higna MIDC, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440016 Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager specializing in agricultural sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the agricultural industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales team, developing strategic sales plans for selling biochar blended organic manure i.e. \xe2\x80\x9cBIOCHAAR++\xe2\x80\x9d, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the agricultural sector. Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy: -
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the agricultural sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to capitalize on emerging growth areas.
  • Analyze sales data and market insights to inform decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
2. Team Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of agricultural sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team\'s continuous professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture that promotes accountability and excellence.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points to tailor solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance and support to address their agricultural challenges.
4. Product Knowledge and Marketing Support:
  • Stay informed about the company\'s products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and sales tools to support sales efforts.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product development and marketing strategies.
5. Sales Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, sales pipeline, and market share, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for senior management to evaluate sales performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize sales effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Agricultural Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in agricultural sales, with a minimum of 7 y + in a sales management or leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of the agricultural industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of effectively leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and the ability to translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving sales growth, achieving targets, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in sales CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
