As a Sales Executive for our furniture store, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our wide range of furniture products in-store. You will engage with customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions, ensuring a high level of satisfaction while meeting your sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales and Business Development:
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Promote furniture products and related accessories to individuals, interior designers, and businesses.
• Customer Service:
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences, needs, and budget.
• Provide detailed product information and explain features, benefits, and warranty options.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Product Knowledge:
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the product range, including new arrivals, trends, and pricing.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits in-store or via virtual consultations.
• Sales Administration:
• Process orders, sales contracts, and returns efficiently and accurately.
• Track inventory levels and communicate with stock management teams to ensure product availability.
• Marketing and Promotion:
• Participate in in-store and online promotions or events.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
• Collect feedback from customers to improve products and services.
• Reporting:
• Track sales performance and report regularly to sales managers or higher-ups.
• Identify trends and suggest strategies to increase sales or improve customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Product Knowledge: Ability to understand and articulate the features and benefits of various furniture styles and materials.
• Sales Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with sales software, CRM systems, and inventory management.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
Work Environment:
• Retail stores, showrooms, or offices.
• Occasional travel for client meetings or trade shows may be required.
