Position Overview
As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Workwise's footprint across Maharashtra and Gujarat through direct client engagement. This role
involves building relationships, understanding client pain points, and demonstrating how Workwise's solutions address these challenges. You will work closely
with the founder, Siddharth Kothari, shaping sales strategies and paving the way for growth into a sales leadership role.
With an uncapped commission structure tied to revenue from closed deals, this position is ideal for ambitious and results-driven professionals eager to make an
impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement and Relationship Building
• Travel extensively across Maharashtra and Gujarat to meet clients and build strong relationships.
• Conduct in-depth discussions to understand client needs and showcase tailored Workwise functionalities.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Marathi to enhance local rapport. Familiarity with Mumbai's business culture is an advantage.
2. Sales Strategy and Process Development
• Collaborate with the founder to define and refine sales strategies and approaches.
• Contribute insights to create a scalable and effective sales playbook.
• Play a critical role in shaping early-stage client engagement processes.
3. Industry Understanding and Market Analysis
• Understand procurement workflows and technical nuances to credibly address client challenges.
• Analyze market trends and provide feedback to influence product development and competitive positioning.
4. Networking and People Management
• Leverage connections and strategic networking to discover leads and open doors to potential clients.
• Deepen relationships with existing clients and explore cross-selling opportunities.
5. Target Achievement and Reporting
• Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets to drive client acquisition and revenue growth.
• Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, pipeline progression, and strategic insights.
Compensation
• Base Salary: Competitive
• Incentives: Uncapped revenue-sharing on successful client acquisitions, offering high earning potential for driven candidates.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from a Tier 1 institute.
• 0-4 years of sales experience, ideally in high-performance, sales-driven firms.
• Strong understanding of procurement workflows, with technical knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in Marathi and familiarity with Maharashtra's business culture.
• Proven ability to manage relationships, leverage connections, and strategically network.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated, ambitious, and eager to take ownership of growth opportunities.
