Job Description

1. Customer Service:

• Greeting customers and helping them find products they are looking for.
• Providing product information, demonstrating product features, and explaining the benefits.
• Answering questions about merchandise, sales, promotions, and store policies.

2. Sales and Upselling:

• Actively listening to customers to understand their needs and recommending products that meet those needs.
• Suggesting additional items or alternatives to increase sales (upselling and cross-selling).
• Processing sales transactions accurately using a cash register or electronic system.

3. Merchandising and Stocking:

• Ensuring products are properly displayed and organized on the sales floor.
• Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
• Participating in periodic inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.

4. Store Maintenance:

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store environment.
• Ensuring product displays are visually appealing and in line with company standards.
• Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as cleaning, restocking shelves, and securing the store.

5. Customer Assistance and Support:

• Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently and professionally.
• Resolving issues and escalating complex problems to management when necessary.
• Following up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

6. Product Knowledge and Training:

• Learning about new products and staying informed about changes in pricing, promotions, and policies.
• Participating in training sessions and workshops to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

7. Teamwork and Collaboration:

• Collaborating with coworkers to achieve store goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and management to share information and resolve issues.
