Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong relationships with customers in the Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) industry. The role involves strategic planning, business development, and effective team management.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to maximize their potential and achieve sales objectives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set sales targets, and provide guidance for professional development.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and other stakeholders in the construction industry.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments to expand the customer base.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
• Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management, detailing sales performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Utilize CRM systems and tools to track sales activities, customer interactions, and project pipelines.
• Contract Negotiation:
• Negotiate terms and conditions with customers, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability goals.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and agreements.
• Product Knowledge:
• Stay informed about the technical aspects of Ready Mix Concrete products and be able to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of sales transactions, contracts, and customer communications.
• Market Analysis:
• Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and potential threats to the business.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the construction or concrete industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
