Position Title: Purchase Assistant
Department: Procurement/Purchasing
Reports To: Incharges
Timings : 10am to 8 pm
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Order Processing:
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Verify receipt of supplies and reconcile discrepancies with vendors.
• Vendor Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any issues related to deliveries, quality, or pricing.
• Assist in negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
• Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records, including invoices, receipts, and correspondence.
• Ensure all procurement activities are documented and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Cost Control:
• Assist in monitoring and managing procurement budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all purchased products meet the quality standards of the medical store.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues.
• Coordination and Communication:
• Coordinate with various departments to understand their product requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
• Market Research:
• Conduct market research to stay updated on new products, suppliers, and market trends.
• Assist in sourcing new products that meet the store's needs and enhance product offerings.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a medical or retail setting.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing records.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners.

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?13,000.00 per month
