Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our efforts in expanding EatRiite's market presence through both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade channels as well as HoReCa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the FMCG sector, particularly in healthy snacking, with 8-12 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in General Trade (GT), Modern Trade channels and HoReCa.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including retail partnerships and distribution channels.
• Manage key partners and maintain strong relationships with existing B2B clients.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies to meet market demands.
• Distribution Channel Development:
• Focus on developing and expanding the General Trade (GT) distribution network.
• Negotiate and secure Modern Trade and HoReCa deals to enhance market presence.
• Collaborate with distributors, salesman, and retailers.
• Manage existing distributors, retailers and follow up for repeat orders.
• Generate leads through cold calling, emails, exhibitions, referrals.
• Lead and mentor a team of sales people, Foster a collaborative environment to drive innovation and achieve team objectives.
• Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:
• Develop and execute innovative marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
• Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, packaging, and promotional campaigns.
• Oversee social media and online presence to boost brand awareness and drive sales.
• Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
• Analyze sales data and market insights to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
• Provide regular reports on market conditions, sales performance, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
• Budget Management:
• Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts. MIS reporting to management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• 8-12 years of experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG sector, preferably in the dry fruits and healthy snacking industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market growth.
• Strong understanding of General Trade (GT), Modern Trade channels and HoReCa.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
