Job Description

developing and executing sales strategies to promote and sell chemical products to various industries, building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, staying updated on market trends, and coordinating marketing efforts to generate leads and drive sales growth within a designated territory, often requiring technical knowledge of chemical properties and applications. Key responsibilities may include:

Sales Development:

Identifying potential customers and generating new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer retention and repeat business. Presenting product features and benefits to customers, tailoring presentations to specific industry needs. Negotiating pricing and contract terms to close deals and achieve sales targets. Managing sales pipeline and tracking progress towards sales goals.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market conditions. Identifying potential new product applications and market segments to expand sales reach.

Technical Expertise:

Understanding the technical properties and applications of various chemical products Providing technical support to customers regarding product selection, usage, and troubleshooting Staying updated on industry regulations and safety standards related to chemical handling

Marketing Support:

Collaborating with marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and materials to promote products and generate leads Participating in trade shows and industry events to showcase products and network with potential customers Creating and delivering customer presentations highlighting product benefits and value proposition
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field Proven sales experience in the chemical industry, preferably with a track record of exceeding sales targets Strong technical knowledge of chemical products and applications Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with customers Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and develop sales strategies Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
