Position: Business Development
Summary: The Business Developer plays a vital role in the growth and expansion of a company. They are responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategic plans to drive revenue growth. The primary objective of a Business Development Manager is to generate sales leads, negotiate and close deals, and ensure the company's long-term success.
Responsibilities:
Identify and Evaluate Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, , and industry trends.
Evaluate the feasibility and potential profitability of new ventures or partnerships.
Monitor and analyze competitors' activities and market conditions.
Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and addressing their concerns.
Develop new client relationships through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on products, services, and industry developments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project execution.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying potential clients.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to clients.
Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics, track market trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
Strategic Planning : Collaborate with the senior management team to define the company's strategic direction.
Identify potential areas for expansion, new markets, and strategic partnerships.
Develop and implement business development plans and initiatives aligned with the company's objectives.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the company's competitiveness and market position.
Team Collaboration : Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and product development, to align business development efforts with company capabilities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
Provide feedback and market intelligence to product development teams to drive product improvements and innovation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus and Waste management experience .
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Demonstrated ability to generate leads, negotiate deals, and close sales.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as required.
