What You'll Do
You are responsible for direct and indirect (through partners) sales into both user accounts and new accounts within a defined geographic territory or for a defined account rider. You will be responsible for the profitable sales of Teradata solution portfolio products including software, professional services, hardware and support services. You will be responsible for the entire relation between Teradata and those accounts. You should build and execute a growth plan for the account to drive more business value out of Teradata environment. You should be able to articulate the solution in terms of ROI to the customers.
Who You'll Work With
You will work closely with SEs (pre-sale technical team) , engagement managers (service sale team) and CSM (customer success managers) to jointly develop the account plan.
This position reports to the country manager
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
Holds a computer science or engineering degree.
Has 5-10 years solution selling experience, with proven track record.
Has the capability to build long term penetration plans into strategic accounts.
Used to work in multimillion dollars contracts.
Has the experience in selling data warehousing, data analytics and AI solutions with good understanding for the solution components.
What You'll Bring
Business mindset, with the ability to search customer business and detect the value of Teradata to the customer.
Has networking in the data field, specifically within the public sector.
Has some vertical industry knowledge
