Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Executive with a strong background in mechanical engineering and expertise in AutoCAD to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in sales, with a proven ability to generate new business, develop client relationships, and effectively promote technical products or services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development:
• Actively pursue new business opportunities and drive sales growth by identifying and targeting potential clients in the assigned territory.
• Generate and follow up on leads, creating tailored solutions to meet client needs.
• Client Interaction:
• Conduct regular sales visits to both existing and new clients to understand their requirements, provide technical expertise, and close deals.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Product Presentation & Consultation:
• Present and demonstrate technical products or services to clients in a clear, effective, and engaging manner.
• Provide expert advice on product selection and usage, with an emphasis on the technical aspects of the offerings.
• Sales Negotiation & Closing:
• Prepare and present quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize sales agreements with clients.
• Track and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Technical Support:
• Utilize AutoCAD to prepare drawings, schematics, or product mockups for clients when needed.
• Offer technical support and solutions to customers, ensuring the products meet their specifications and requirements.
• Market Research:
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and progress toward goals in CRM systems.
• Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, challenges, and market trends.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical sales or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of new business generation and client management.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating technical drawings or illustrations.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, products, or services.
• Sales Skills:
• Strong business development and sales negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and propose effective solutions.
• Communication & Presentation:
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and presentable demeanor in client-facing situations.
