Position: Safety Supervisor Location : Sakinaka, Powai Project IT data centre Job Summary: As a Safety Supervisor for our construction company, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all personnel involved in construction projects. Your primary role will involve implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, providing training, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. Key Role & Responsibilities: 1. Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. 2. Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. 3. Provide safety training to employees and subcontractors, covering topics such as hazard recognition, emergency procedures, and proper equipment usage. 4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. 5. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and compliance documentation. 6. Communicate safety requirements, initiatives, and updates to all levels of the organization effectively. 7. Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and coordination with emergency services. 8. Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and standards relevant to the construction industry and ensure company compliance. 9. Promote a strong safety culture by fostering awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a safety officer in the construction industry. \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with construction processes, equipment, and materials. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills. \xc2\xb7 Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. \xc2\xb7 Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA certification) preferred. \xc2\xb7 First Aid/CPR certification is a plus. \xc2\xb7 Salary: The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
