KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Inspects equipment, tools, and working conditions to ensure safety of workers engaged in construction and maintenance of overhead and underground power lines: Inspects safety belts, ladders, ropes, rubber goods, and tools and replaces those not meeting safety requirements.
2. Observes crews at work and reports carelessness/negligence's in safety precautions, such as failure to use goggles, rubber gloves, and other safety devices.
3. Review physical, biological and chemical workplace hazards
4. Conduct safety and environmental audits
5. Investigate health-and-safety-related complaints, spills of hazardous chemicals, outbreaks of diseases or poisonings, and workplace accidents
6. Develop, implement and evaluate health and safety programs and strategies
7. Provide consultation and deliver training programs to construction industry employers and employees on issues of workplace safety and (depending on the project) environmental protection
Note: DIPLOMA IN INDUSTRIAL SAFETY OR EQUIVALENT WITH IOSH & OSHA
Candidate from Water Engineering will be appreciate
Experience : 3+ year after Safety diploma.
