Role and Responsibilities:
1. Developing and Implementing Safety Plans : Create and implement health and safety plans, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment across construction activities.
2. Ensuring Legal and Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to legal regulations and occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines, maintaining compliance at all times.
3. Risk Assessment and Hazard Control : Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures.
4. Employee Training and Awareness : Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on health and safety protocols, raising awareness and preparedness.
5. Incident Investigation and Reporting : Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and provide actionable recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
6. Promoting a Safety-First Culture : Foster and promote a strong health and safety culture within the organization to encourage proactive participation in safety practices.
7. Site Coordination with Clients : Act as the point of contact for clients regarding on-site safety concerns and coordinate efforts to align safety measures with project requirements.
8. Continuous Improvement : Regularly review and update safety plans and processes to reflect evolving best practices and legal requirements.
Required Profile:
Safety experience in construction field is must.
