Location - Mukutban , Vani, Yavatmal

Education - Mining Graduate/ Diploma In Mining & Mine Surveying With Holder Of 1st Class Coal Mine Manager'S Certificate

Gender - Only male

Salary - 15500-20000

Experience - 05+ years Working Experience in Open Cast Coal Mine

Skill - 1-Working In Potentially Hazardous Conditions Including Underground, Open-Pit, And Heavy Machinery Areas.

2-Must Be Available For Regular Inspections, Audits, And Emergency Situations, Even Outside Normal Working Hours.

3-Exposure To Noise, Dust, And Challenging Environmental Conditions Typical Of Mining Operations.Strong Knowledge Of Mining Processes, Equipment, And Safety Regulations.

4-Excellent Attention To Detail And Ability To Identify Hazards And Implement Corrective Actions.

5-Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Train And Engage Workers On Safety Matters.

6-Ability To Remain Calm And Effective Under Pressure, Especially In Emergency Situations.

1-Reporting to Mine ManagerIt is Statutory post under The Mines Act 1952 and The CMR -2017 controlled by the Directorate General Mines Safety (DGMS) under the Ministry of Labour.

2-He will Assist the Mine Manager in all the Matters related to safety of the Personnel and Safety aspect and Safe Working in Mine.

3-Ensure Compliance With The Mines Act And All Other Relevant Safety Laws, Standards, And Regulations.

4-Keep Up-To-Date With Changes In Safety Legislation And Communicate These To Management And Workers.

5-Work Closely With Mine Management To Ensure That Safety Measures Are Integrated Into All Mining Activities.

6-Develop, Implement, And Monitor Safety Management Systems, Policies, And Procedures Tailored To The Specific Needs Of The Mine.

7-Conduct Regular Safety Drills And Ensure That All Workers Are Aware Of Emergency Protocols, Including Fire, Evacuation, And First Aid.

8-Promote A Safety-First Culture Among Workers By Raising Awareness Of Potential Hazards And Safe Working Practices.

9-Conduct Regular Safety Inspections And Audits Of The Mining Site, Machinery, Equipment, And Work Processes To Ensure Compliance With Safety Standards.Identify Hazards And Potential Risks In The Mine, And Recommend Corrective Actions To Eliminate Or Mitigate These Risks.

10-Prepare Detailed Reports On Safety Inspections And Audits, And Ensure Any Non-Compliance Issues Are Addressed Immediately.Develop And Implement Accident Prevention Strategies And Safety Initiatives To Reduce The Risk Of Workplace Incidents.

11-Analyze Accident Trends And Identify Areas For Improvement In Safety Performance.Ensure That High-Risk Activities Such As Blasting, Machinery Operation, And Underground Work Are Carried Out With Strict Adherence To Safety Guidelines.

12-Lead Investigations Into Accidents, Near-Misses, And Dangerous Occurrences, Determining The Root Causes And Implementing Corrective Actions.

13-Ensure All Incidents Are Reported To The Appropriate Authorities As Required By The Mines Act, And That Proper Records Are Maintained.Monitor The Effectiveness Of Post-Incident Corrective Measures To Prevent Recurrence.

14-Conduct Safety Training Programs For All Mine Workers, Contractors, And Visitors, Ensuring They Are Aware Of Potential Hazards And Safe Practices.Ensure That Workers Are Trained In The Use Of Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe), Emergency Procedures, And The Proper Handling Of Dangerous Substances.

15-Stay Informed About New Safety Techniques, Technology, And Equipment, And Ensure They Are Incorporated Into Safety Training As Needed.Develop And Maintain An Effective Emergency Response Plan For The Mine In Case Of Accidents, Fires, Explosions, Or Natural Disasters.

16-Ensure That All Emergency Equipment, Such As Fire Extinguishers, First Aid Kits, And Breathing Apparatus, Is Readily Available And Functional.

17-Regularly Review And Test The Mine'S Emergency Preparedness And Make Improvements Where Necessary.Monitor Working Conditions, Especially In Hazardous Areas Like Underground Tunnels, Heavy Machinery Zones, And Blasting Sites.

18-Ensure That Environmental Factors Such As Air Quality, Noise Levels, Dust, And Vibration Are Kept Within Permissible Limits As Per Legal Standards.Address Issues Related To Long Working Hours, Excessive Fatigue, Or Other Factors That May Impact Workers' Safety And Health.

19-Ensure That The Provisions Of The Mines Act Regarding Workers' Health Are Adhered To, Including Medical Check-Ups, First Aid Services, And Welfare Amenities.

20-Promote Health And Wellness Programs That Mitigate Long-Term Risks Associated With Mining, Such As Respiratory Diseases Or Musculoskeletal Issues.

21-Liaise With Mine Inspectors, Government Officials, And Other Regulatory Bodies During Safety Inspections, Audits, And Investigations.

22-Assist In Responding To Any Queries Or Notices From Regulatory Bodies Related To Mine Safety Compliance.

23-Ensure That All Statutory Requirements Such As Safety Permits, Licenses, And Certifications Are In Place And Up-To-Date.
