**Job Title: Safety Officer/Engineer - Solar Project**

**Position Overview:**

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer/Engineer to join our team for a ground-mounted solar project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel involved in the construction and operation of the solar project.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the project site to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

3. Provide safety training and education to project staff, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety awareness.

4. Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans for all project activities.

5. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

6. Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including inspections, training, and incident reports.

7. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

8. Monitor and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices on the project site.

9. Stay informed about emerging safety trends, technologies, and best practices in the renewable energy industry.

**Qualifications:**

- Any Bachelor\'s degree and Diploma in health and safety, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a safety officer/engineer in the construction or renewable energy industry, preferably with experience in solar projects.

- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, NEC).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety risks.

- Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety, First Aid/CPR, and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) are preferred.

- Familiarity with environmental and sustainability principles related to solar energy projects is a plus.

**Location:**

This position is based at the project site Pavagada-Karnataka.
