Qualification of Full time B. Tech in Fire & safety/B. Tech Mechanical/Electrical + PDIS WITH MINIMUM 5 YERAS Industrial safety EXPERIENCE (Odia language preferred) Mandatory

• Responsible for safeguard the safety of employees and ensuring Zero harm culture.
• Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure employees safety.
• Ensuring Robust culture in HSE management system.
• Ensuring enhancement in safety.
• Knowledge in OSHA & IOSH safety standards w.r.t compliance to Vedanta safety standards & policies
• Knowledge in ISO 45001 Procedures & Documentation.
• Responsible for conducting regular safety audits in the Company.
• Liaison with Factories Boilers , FIRE dept., SPCB office and provide the compliances monthly.
• To organize Safety training program for our employees & BP employees and make them to understand safe work procedures.
• To interact with all department heads about the unresolved safety problems.
• Shall be responsible for ensuring compliances under the provisions of Factories Act, 1948
• Responsible for all compliance related to Health under the provisions of Factories Act, 1948.
• To promote understanding and realization about environment to each employee in the company.
• To conduct training program for our employees on Environmental Management System .
• Compiling EHS statistics and reporting as per OSPCB guidelines.
• Analyse root causes of environmental incidents and propose corrective action plans.
• Assess potential environmental risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Responsible for monitoring environment management system according to ISO 14001. Maintain ISO 14001 & Environmental Documentation
• Responsible for ensuring compliances under the provisions of related Acts.
• Knowledge in Consent to establish and Consent to operate.
• Can be able to handle or Liaison the activities of Regional office of Odisha state PCB.
• Well adverse in Hazardous waste management transboundary rules 2016
• All PCB form filings - Form 1, Form IV, Form V, Form 8, Form 10 (Hazardous waste Manifest documentation)
• Knowledge in Environment protection act 1986 - Air & Water as per OSPCB & CPCB.
• Sewage treatment plant and Effluent treatment plant - Plant maintenance and operation
• Inspect pollution equipment on a regular basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
