Job Objective To monitor all EHS Compliance across all department of site
Key
deliverables
Daily site visit to take H&S observation and closing non-compliances within reasonable
time in coordination of the respective department of site.
Conducting safety committee meeting and implementation of action plan.
Accident/Incident investigation, preparation of report, finalization through EHS Head,
CAPA implementation, improvement monitoring and record keeping.
Updating of HIRA registers/Compellation of I See I Act.
Key Roles/Responsibilities:
Site level implementation of H&S objectives and targets.
Site level documentation of all regulatory requirements including non-regulatory Standards.
Daily site visit to take H&S observation and closing non-compliances within reasonable time in coordination of
the respective department of site.
Issue of work permit and delivering tool box talk. Interim surveillance of work site to assess compliance to the
requirements of the work permit (refer to the KRA of fireman in this connection).
Documented advice to mitigate unsafe work and unsafe condition to mitigate potential incident (refer to the
KRA of fireman in this connection).
Updating of legal and other registers.
Updating of HIRA, Aspect & Impact registers.
Oversight of O&M of portable and fixed fire fighting systems.
Conducting safety committee meeting and implementation of action plan.
Incident investigation, preparation of report, finalization through EHS Head, CAPA implementation,
improvement monitoring and record keeping.
Conducting mock drill.
Recapitulation of first aid and CPR internal training.
Providing other on-site HS training as directed by EHS Head.
Organize safety campaigns.
Authority observation point and work commitment reply submission inventory.
Drafting (including translation) of all regulatory submittals (routine and incidental) and finalization through EHS
Head and Legal (Corporate).
All site level base work for IMS implementation under the guidance of EHS Head.
All site level base work for implementation of contractor safety management in consultation with site HR
department.
"All site level base work including providing detailed requisition in consultation with site procurement
department for procurement of material and service related to HS system and project to mitigate any short?and long-term consequence."
Response to all incidental work instructions of EHS Head.
"Instrument/ Equipment calibration along with managing scope of service, accredited agency selection,
compliance to quality
control requirements, etc. in consultation with site procurement department."
Routing all HS, IMS and relevant procurement related correspondence through EHS Head for information and
review.
Response to all incidental work instructions of EHS Head.

compliance to quality
control requirements, etc. in consultation with site procurement department."
Site level implementation of secured landfill bottom liner and cap construction QA-QC (Kutch).
Routing all EHS, IMS and relevant procurement related correspondence through EHS Head for information and
review.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018.
Knowledge of Process Safety Management ( PSM)
Internal Interfaces :HOD, Manager, Departmental Employees, etc
External Interfaces : Contractors
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
BSc., MSc., ( Chemistry) BE, BTech-Chemical/Environment
PDIS/ADIS recognized by State Technical Education Board
2 -6 years of experience
Good communication Skills
Good fluency in English Hindi and/or Gujarati.
