Job Title: Safety Officer
Location: SIPAT, Bilaspur (NTPC)
Salary: ?20,000 to ?25,000 per month (in-hand)

NTPC-Sipat, Bilaspur is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all personnel on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and preventing accidents and injuries in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety inspections and audits on-site to ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Ensure all workers are following safe work practices and wearing necessary protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Maintain records of safety incidents, accidents, and training activities.
• Ensure emergency response procedures are in place and conduct safety drills as required.
• Monitor and enforce the use of safety equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with the management and other departments to create a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a Technical field (B.Tech/Engineering) and a valid ADIS Certificate .
• Experience: Prior experience in safety management, preferably in power plants or similar industries.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and practices.
• Ability to assess risks and develop safety plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Certifications: ADIS (Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety) is mandatory.
