You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise will help prevent workplace accidents and create a safe working environment on all sites. Website: www.miraclepaints.com RESPONSIBILITIES: \xc2\xb7 Plan meetings to identify health and safety concerns inherent in daily work plan operations. \xc2\xb7 Ensure the preparation and implementation of a Site Safety and Health Plan for the site. \xc2\xb7 Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures. \xc2\xb7 Support the development of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and programs. \xc2\xb7 Inspect work sites for safety hazards, such as unsafe scaffolding or electrical wiring issues. \xc2\xb7 Assign assistants and manage the incident safety organization. \xc2\xb7 Organize toolbox talks for workers, supervisors, and other employees at the site, regularly guiding them about safety measures. \xc2\xb7 Prevent unsafe acts and take immediate action to avoid them on all sites. \xc2\xb7 Inform management about safety plans and requirements, and maintain updated reports according to standard formats. \xc2\xb7 Plan and ensure cost-cutting safety measures on the project site. \xc2\xb7 Document as per management and client requests. \xc2\xb7 Conduct safety audits and inspections. \xc2\xb7 Ensure proper housekeeping at the site. \xc2\xb7 Conduct investigations of all accidents and recommend appropriate safety measures. \xc2\xb7 Ensure proper and 100% usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). \xc2\xb7 Coordinate rehabilitation for injured employees. \xc2\xb7 Formulate an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) manual and organizational policy. \xc2\xb7 Conduct first aid, fire drills, on-the-job training, toolbox meetings, gate meetings, induction, and emergency precautions. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: \xc2\xb7 Diploma in Fire & Safety or a bachelor\'s degree in occupational health and safety is preferred. A certificate as a First Aid Trainer and in occupational health and safety is a plus. \xc2\xb7 Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the construction field. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Kannada is preferred. \xc2\xb7 Excellent documentation, written, and verbal communication skills are essential. \xc2\xb7 In-depth understanding of construction safety regulations, codes, and standards. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with risk assessment and hazard analysis. \xc2\xb7 Proficient in MS Office & Mail. \xc2\xb7 Strong problem-solving skills to address safety issues on construction sites. \xc2\xb7 Compliance with local and national regulations is crucial; staying informed about changes in safety laws is essential. \xc2\xb7 Possession of a two-wheeler is a plus.
