Academic Background



B.E, B. Tech - Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical + Diploma Industrial Safety from RLI or State Technical education board.



Experience 10 years of Experience



(Key Responsibility & Accountability)



1) Drive and lead safety, hygiene & traffic related activities in the plant to prevent incidents.



2) Ensure all legal requirements in respect of safety & Occupational Health, Fire & Safety are complied.



3) Drive and implement ISO 45001 activity in the company.



4) Develop Safety training matrix and ensure it will be executed in the company.



5) Monitor and tracking of Capex & Opex budget for the department.



6) Co-ordinate meeting and activities of safety committee, Hygiene committee, Traffic safety committee. Record MOM and implement action points.



7) Ensure reporting, investigation of all accident, Incident, Fire & Near miss occurred in the work site.



8) Ensure the execution of Safety control system like (Work Permit, PSUSR, PHA, Site Observation Tour, Disaster Genba, Contractor Safety Management, Process safety Review, HIRA, KY)



9) Monitor In house and outsource Work place monitoring activity ( VOC, Welding Fumes, Metal Fumes, Dust, Noise, Illumination, Heat Stress,)



10) Monitor and drive traffic accident prevention activities.

Specific Functional Skills Required



1) In depth knowledge about Safety and Health requirements (I.e. Factory act, GFR, ACGIH, OSHA, NIOSH, RULA, LOPA, Petroleum act, Indian Standards, SMPV rule, Gas Cylinder rule, Motor Vehicle rule, , IRC standard, Building and Other Construction Workers Act, Gujarat fire prevention and life safety rule, National Building Code, etc.)



2) Should have knowledge of Plant Operation process.



3) Good in communication skill, Problem solving skill, Conflict Management, Attention to detail.



Desired Personal Attributes



1) Good in verbal and written communication skills in English & Hindi language.



2) Leadership with positive mind set



3) Good knowledge of Safety Management System. ( DuPont, British Safety council)



4) Well verse with MS Excel, Power BI, Auto cad, Video editing software.



5) Good presentation skill
