JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities Actively participates in a variety of activities of the daily operation, by providing Tier 2 support without assistance Contributes to the creation of troubleshooting tasks with varied complexity Contributes to the implementation of solutions with varied complexity including those outside existing standards Participates in developing procedures and supports knowledge definition Contributes to the improvement and development of processes and procedures Trains staff on existing processes Examples of activities: Deployment and decommissioning of systems in a virtual environment Resolution of support requests in a virtual environment, including support for Emerson applications and products such as DeltaV, Syncade, Mimic, and Project Data Link Configuration of product templates Execution of backups and restores Quality assurance Root cause analysis Execution of Disaster Recovery Basic Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience level in a related field. 4+ years\' experience in: VMware vSphere and VCenter MS Windows server OS Deployment of virtual machines in a largely virtual environment Networking (certifications desirable) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of: VMware Operations Manager Dell blade and rack systems Datacenter Operations ISO 27001 Information Security Management System PowerShell and PowerCLI Scripting Experience using MS SharePoint and MS Teams Familiar with Emerson Automation Solutions products, processes, and standards
