About the role

Drive excellent operations through close partnership with market and regional finance leadership teams. Owns and drives delivery governance.


Your responsibilities
-------------------------


• Build strong relationships with market and regional finance leadership developing a sound understanding of their priorities.
• Ensure GFS delivers strategic value aligned to the markets and GFS priorities.
• Drive efficient and effective operations and work with IBM and markets to develop and deploy automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead identification of opportunities for expansion of GFS services across the group (new business)
• Ensure that standard work instructions, aligned with global SOPs, exist and are followed in accordance with the control's framework.
• Support the IBM Service Delivery leads (chief accountants) to be the primary point of contact in market for operational issues.
The experience we're looking for
------------------------------------


• 5+ years' experience of working in a complex organisation with a global scope. FMCG experience desirable but not essential.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA is preferred.
• Demonstrable ability to drive operational teams, and operational improvements.
• Experience of managing shared services through an outsource provider.
